Some of us are not lucky enough to go to college, get a degree, and settle into one specific job for the rest of our lives.
Someone like me, has had to pretty much "do it all" in order to make a paycheck happen. I have learned to become a "Jack of all Trades" as it were.
So, my question is to you......
What is the weirdest/strangest job you have had in your life so far?
I know some jobs can be stranger than others, and I know my strangest job is pretty weak..............but I had a temp job one time where I sat in front of a computer, playing computer games all day, waiting for the phone to ring. If the phone rang, I would ask the caller (in house employee "hot line") what the problem was, look on the list provided for me, see who they were to contact for that specific problem.
Thats ALL I did. I temp'ed at that job for a week, and I think I had a total of two calls.
And get this....there were TWO of us sitting there all day, playing computer games, waiting for the phone to ring!!
Now, this was not long ago....I mean people had computers at their desks, and this is a world wide corporation, not some tiny business....and they paid people to pretty much just be company phone directories.
I didn't understand it then, and I dont understand it still.
