Photoshop was good but i haven't really done much in the past few years

True 3d modelling looks crazy at first but really it's just getting used to like with photoshop, if you just start with simple beginner tutorials you'll get the understanding of such a complex looking program faster then you'd have realized. I never used Bryce so I don't know the complexity of the software I myself started out with blender3d because it was free but I got frustrated because I didn't get the results I wanted so I jumped to Maya, after getting frustrated with Maya I jumped to 3Ds Max, the last two are much alike but I felt more comfortable using 3Ds Max.. I must say I'm glad I experimented with these softwares (can't believe i'm saying this) 11 years ago.

I'm going to start taking my digital art course in a few days if that's anything, but then again, I'll also be taking a second-level painting class after that one for most days. My only problem with pursuing digital art as a hobby is that I don't have a job yet and so even $10 a month for the basic programs is too much for me. I do have PS Touch that I use with Sketchbook Pro on my tablet, but I doubt that really looks professional, especially with the more or less crappy camera on my tablet! Big Grin

On the bright side, the teacher already knows me and complimented me on probably having "more talent" than the others who are going to take that class - don't know about that, especially since it's my anxiety drives my artwork. Wink

That's great! Hey, where there's a will there's a way, even without money.. It's the drive that will get you somewhere, wish you much luck on your journey!
