My mom sat me down and addressed me directly two days ago. She said she noticed I wasa bit mopey the last couple of times she has spent time around me. And she said she thinks she knows why. I am so glad about what she said next. "Hank I know you aregay and I have made peace with it. I love you very much, and I am not upset about you being gay, I am proud of you." she goes on... "I am sorry we (my father and her) did not talk to you when you told us you were gay in high school, I amso sorry, it justwas something we couldn't deal with."

I am so glad that shetold me that. She even said that she was okay with me bringing a friend around.
