Another poll to see if you would, have, or would not pay for an escort....regardless of whether it turned to sex or not.


Personally, I find nothing wrong with being an escort, but I would never "rent" one for sex. I would, however, "rent" one for arm candy if I was going to some swanky "do".

I had a friend who "rented" escorts in Las Vegas when he went, and it was for sex. I could never do that. Too much gross factor there for me to be comfortable with. Regardless of them taking care of themselves or saying they are "clean", I don't know who or what they have been with, much less been exposed too. Just because they get tested for HIV, does not mean they are getting tested for Swine Flu, Bird Flu, or any other highly contagious viruses or diseases.

ICK! Makes my skin crawl.

Assuming you mean "real" escorting as opposed to using it as a another word for "prostitute", then, maybe. Particularly if they are knowledgable, good conversationalist and can suggest interesting places to dine or visit. For sex only, no.

I could be interested if the escort could double as a type of guide, especially if relevant for whatever event I was hiring an escort to go with me to.

I could also hire a male escort if I thought it would make me safer and/or prevent guys from sexually harassing me. If he's charming, witty, etc, then so much the better. Women typically demand better quality for their escorts (even if it's just for an erotic dance they still tend to have higher aesthetic standards than many men do) so I'd be lucky on that...OTOH, I understand women pay more, too, but as long as I got quality for my money then that would be okay.

I see no difference between hiring an escort for sex, and cruising a club / bar for a pickup, and taking somebody home for sex IE one nighter...

With an escort, you know where you stand, there are no mixed signals.

A regular hookup is a great thing for a single / not interested in relationship guy.

As for STD's the hookup is generally far more safety conscious than you, asides you do safe sex
