A good film. A much scarier werewolf movie (IMO) is the classic The Wolfman (1940s) with Claude Rains, Bela Lugosi, and the unique Maria Ouspenskaya as the gypsy mother. I remember seeing it as a child on late night TV,when I was home alone, and then taking the dog out in the woods on that foggy night, expecting a werewolf behind every tree.

I LOVE 'An American Werewolf in London'. Back in the day it had one of the most amazing transformation/special effects scenes ever to date. Plus, it's funny and scary all at the same time. I miss this classic horror. Nowadays there is too much CGI in films in my opinion. I miss the old effects. 'The Howling' is another old school werewolf film with old school transformations! Anyone ever seen that?
