Chest hair?
#11
I think men who remove their body hair have deep seated emotional disorders and hate their own masculinity. Trim it - sure, shampoo and condition it - works pretty darn well.

But shave it off? Wax it off? Why? Children are hairless, adults not so much. Body hair is a sign of maturity (adultness). I even feel this way about women shaving their legs and stuff... And that habit has been around decades longer.

I think the fascination with shaved bodies comes from the porn industry, where in order to get close up shots of the activity they first took to trimming then decided to go all the way. http://www.pamf.org/teen/health/skin/pub...moval.html gives a bit of history on female shaving....

A touch of extrapolation and it included men.

Mind 1970's porn was of hairy, bearded and mustached men - in the 1980's the 'boy body' craze took hold - first in porn where shoving off muscle definition became a craze (e.g. showing off the malformation of the stomach with abdominal muscles popping out in grotesque manner).

In the 1980's men started shaving their bodies and showing more skin....

Now the porn industry has started the shaved pubes trend....

Looks good either or to me. Maybe very slightly better shaved/waxed on someone 'buff'.

But that's my opinion and you shouldn't take it into account when you're managing your own body.

I actually encourage you to try this, and if you like the way it looks, continue! But if not, don't bother, and be happy with yourself too.

Honestly, I don't mind either way. But I like the smoothness. But, if I like someone enough, I'm not going to let something so small as body hair stop that.
If he likes you, he won't care if you have a hairy chest or not.

Even if he thinks it's gross, that might change.

I actually don't like it when they shave their chest hair, I like alittle chest hair. I love it when a guy's hair forms from their belly button and goes to their chest... kind of like jake gylenhall's chest can't spell his last name, the guy from broke back mountain.

Well to me and my culture, its pretty odd for such hairyness, regardless of the fact that I already do not like body hair(possibly due to my culture).

Its very hot nearly all year round here, so I dont know if evolution kicked the fuck in or we eat too much fish, but not many guys here are hairy and those that are typically get it removed.

Mostly because it is so hot and we are active people, getting hot and sweaty with body hair? Ewww thats like a stink bomb ready to tick.

And while many men(it seems in cooler countries) view it as a sign of "masculinity" or manhood or whatever, I see it as a hindurance and unnecessary. Its not like we need it to stay warm or whatever.

Sure it might be natural and a sign of adolescence, but I dont think its an abomination or weird if you wanna cut it off.

Its really up to you. Just know sometimes, certain things that seem normal or fine where you come from, may not be elsewhere. And vice versa
