Leaving?
#21
I have no intention of leaving myself. Plus, if I ever want to actually leave.. I can just stop visiting. I don't have to make some big statement and delete my account.

I'm still confused on what's been going on. I'm not sure if people like Southbiochem and Wollyhats got deleted or left on their own. But I'm still here.

They both chose to leave on their own.

I hope you'll still have connections with the ones that really were important to you and I for one will look forward to your staying on here! You don't ever have to feel along here but if you ever do I hope you'll let us know so we can hug you up and tell you we love you! Knuddel
Thanks! ;-)
There is still a lot of nice people, here, I'm only afraid of the leaving of other people...

driftwood Wrote:Well... probably... but that's what is so perplexing. When one or two hotheads self-delete, that's one thing, but when some of our most level-headed calm and insightful members do so, that's entirely different.

On the contrary, those who are self-deleting are doing so in support of the others whom they would feel like they were betraying if they didn't.

This is a very perplexing conundrum. It is a question of loyalty, and there are probably only two possible answers, as the third is not a third, but a rejection of those who have junped ship.

Drift, Hi, nice to make your acquaintance...

Sorry for the late response, I had a glitch which Andy the forum owner has very quickly sorted for me...

These self deletes?

My opinion? A rash decision by the self-deleter who is being mis-led & either does not take the time to assimilate all the facts, or is unable to admit that they where wrong or have been mis-led

Cummon, I'm 56, I've been around the Christmas tree several times now..

How's that thing go? put brain in gear before engaging mouth?

A life lesson I once had... Go read two plastic shopping bags(search it like that it's an oldish post)

Shortly after my son was placed with me in foster care, my very expensive Kruger rand pendant set with diamonds in the frame, on a close-link 76mm gold chain went missing.

All I said to Chris is that it is missing.. (thank heavens!)

Several month's later he turned my mattress over for me and found it between the base and mattress..

Lesson learnt? until you have proof..... keep your yap up-shut tight!

I think that's the real problem here.....

Kind regards
Duckkie

I somehow think his decision wasn't totally down to him. Initially he started to rant at me but then he calmed and we got on chatted and it went well then randomly he went. I think some of the self deleters just decided to go because everyone else has - kinda like sheep?

On the subject of saying good-bye...it isn't always the best idea. When I left here some psycho boy was the darling of the board and it made my skin crawl to read him...what exactly should I have said?
