Not sure about that back when I was insomniacing in my early twenties I had all sorts of exercises, similar to this one. there is something wrong.

Sleeping pills never have worked on me either.

My personal suggestion is.........
if you had to move back home, then you are pretty stressed and cant sleep because of that.
I would suggest going to the Dr. and taking an anxiety/stress test to see what level of stressed/depressed you are at.

The Dr. can give you something for the anxiety/depression. Once your system gets adjusted to the meds, you should be able to sleep. For this case of insomnia, its not that you cant sleep, its that your body and mind is stressed to the point where you cant calm down enough to sleep.

I had insomnia for close to 2 years where I would never sleep more then 3 hours a night. it was brutal but after I got out of the psyche ward, I started sleeping better (but not right away) and I was given sleeping pills but never used them.

like suggested before, go see a doctor.

I think for me its purely because I only go to bed at like 11pm - so Im normally tired. Yeah I watch TV and have my macbook on but bed is still related purely for sleep I never really just 'chill' in my bed. I think thats pretty important. The sun makes me knackered too :p

Take note of what you do before going to bed.
Things like the internet , Tv , computer games may stimulate your mind to much and avoid drinks such as coffee.

Try taking a relaxing bath or reading.

If you wake up and cannot get back to sleep instead of just lying tossing and turning , get up and go back over your going to bed routine eg brush your teeth , read , then go back to bed as if it is the first time.

Try to empty your mind and just concentrate on your breathing ,think of nothing but your chest going up and down ,your heart rate is connected to your breathing so you should relax more and more.I find this works quite well for me.

If you have a underlining problem then you may need to see to a Doctor or therapists.

Or you could try as stated , have a wank ,natural sleeping pill Tongue
