I like what CCRox says about a balance. I have found that people approach me when I am just being myself and enjoying the moment. When you are in various environments where your joy shines through that genuineness is very attractive. I believe that just as dogs can smell fear, humans can smell desperation. I'm not saying you are exuding desperation; I think it is important to not give off the vibe of searching for someone but also don't close yourself off to the point that you seem unapproachable. Enjoy where are, what you're doing, and who you're with. That "special" someone could be just a smile away.

In a way, I feel the same way. Even though I am "just" (age is relative) 19 years old, I am still worried that I won't "find" love. And the same advice that you guys have been giving is similar to the ones I have gotten too. But in my case I think I am more scared that my insecurities and my cowardice to not take those risks that is necessary, is standing in my way.
