Virginity (& anal)
#1
I'm still virgin and I'm proud of it Tongue

Btw I don't know, if anal is a 'must' for many gay/bi guys..
Cause.. well.. I'd love to cuddle or suck a cock etc. but anal.. makes me afraid of!
I think it's still dirty and dangerous..

And.. without anal, e.g. only blowjob, handjob etc.: Would you still consider yourself as virgin?

Just do what you feel comfortable with.Smile I've heard of many gay couples who do not do anal, but do oral or other things instead.

And as to whether or not you would consider yourself a virgin.. That really just depends on how you define virginity. LaciGreen, a popular "YouTuber," has made a few videos about the concept of virginity, arguing that it is purely a social construct. I found them pretty interesting.. You might watch a few of them if you get the chance (I can't link; I don't have 50 posts yet).

I'm on the same page. I'd prefer if my partner is not into anal cause I'm just afraid of doing it despite reading quite a handful of information about it already.

As previously discussed,I think I'd go with losing virginity as in the state of mind where you no longer feel shy or intimidated to get naked and touch others.

So,anal sex or not,I will no longer be a virgin once I get passed that state of mind.

In my opinion being sexually active with another person makes you not a virgin, but it's really a gray area. I mean, do you have to have straight sex to really be sure you are not a virgin?

I am not really sure what constitutes a virgin.....I suppose the definition varies person by person...

The word for me evokes negative reactions...not because of the person who is the virgin at all.... but because of the Bible and that charming story. I think that damn story has f*cked up generations of women (and men) and left a huge stain on our collective psyche....all the guilt and shame and angst....

I have the relax...it's just sex POV.....

Of course...I am a slut...or was before I was partnered...and you will never hear me wringing my hands complaining about how empty is all was...and I regret nothing. I actually loved sex with lots of different men and I learned a lot along the way...

I have the opposite thing though...I dislike oral....giving or receiving...bores me. I kinda like that grapefruit idea:biggrin:

I guess I am kinda a virgin too if you are since I don't like oral. AHA..that's it! You are an anal virgin....

I am an almost oral virgin...I did it a few times ...but never swallowed ...maybe I am just a swallow virgin ...my head hurts now....it's all so confusing....Facepalm

It's important that you and your partner are sexually compatible considering sex is part of most healthy relationships. If your partner only gets off to anal and you don't like anal then a few problems might arise, that's why communication is imperative. You let them know what you like and they let you know what they like, then perhaps you'd be able to reach a middle ground if you weren't into the same things in the first place. I'm not too much into anal either, but I would do it (and have done it) for a guy that I really like. I'm much more into oral and other things.

What constitutes a virgin varies from person to person, not that it matters much anyway, it's just a social construct.

Over the past few decades several polls and research studies on the sexual behaviors of Gay/Bi men has revealed that something on the order of 60% prefer oral and would rather NOT do anal.

Most of those who do do anal do so because they feel it is a 'must do' sort of thing. Predominately because we in the LGBT community don't get a real sex education, we get myths and porn to educate us.

Most porn has the formula of starting off with oral, that leads to finishing off with anal. That formula is to sell as many flicks as possible by catering to as many potential customers as possible.

Secondly, the stereotype of 'fudge packer' is heavy in society, leading us to all believe that in order to be gay there has to be a bit of fudged packed.

So you are, most likely, in the majority of those who would rather not have anal invasion as part of the sex routine.

Here is one such 'discussion' on the matter: http://goaskalice.columbia.edu/not-all-g...e-anal-sex

Many more can be googled: https://www.google.com/#q=most+gay+men+don%27t+do+anal
