What's on Your Mind

I'm going to do another on-stage thing I've never done before tonight. It's snowy and cold out, so I'm anticipating a very very tiny crowd. If there are a dozen folks in the crowd, I'll call it a success. And hey - if I screw up, I screwed up in front of just a handful of people!

Similarly, a friend of mine is starting an open-mic comedy night next week, and I've promised to take part in the first one. Best start thinking of funny things to say again....

im thinking about how pleased I am with myself for building a new computer table, its very large and in an L shape - normally I loose my temper with these flat pack things and something get badly broken but I built this over a couple of days to avoid stressing out and its brilliant

Just got back from some pretty extreme taekwondo training that made me want to crawl up the stairs when I got home.. It was good.

There's a woman I've interacted with a few times briefly. I ended up next to her at a live show a couple weeks ago. We got talking, and discussed collaborating in the near future. I was going to start that conversation yesterday....but I literally could not bring her name to mind. All I remembered was that her first name was "unusual", and her last name was "really common". And I tried for several minutes to recall it, and just couldn't do it.

This morning, while working on other things, I idly thought "Oh, and I should probably contact Tiara Hamilton about that collaboration." Apparently, my brain was just screwing with me yesterday.

Haha, you should see me building flat pack furniture , hopeless does not describe me. :p
