East, for all you know some jerk has gotten on an airplane and wondered from your territory to mine or veice versa and spread this stuff around. It hit me Saturday and life has been hell. Bes part is that I work only one day a week and that is Sunday, so in I went. God, it was awful.

Push the fluids. Find some Campbell's Chicken Noodle soup and squeeze a lemon into it and sip slowly. Enjoy hot, steamy showers. Feel better soon and stop blaming the doctor for whatever is going around. It probably originated in Connecticut.

Oh man..I am sorry that you got it too...almost everyone I know has it. It sucks. It is still bad...I think I need Penicillan...pretty sure it is pneumonia.

Gosh, East. If the excretions are colored it is bacterial and you would benefit from antibiotics. Otherwise, you suffer.

I have started taking some guaifenesin (alias Mucinex) to help clear the gunk. Lots of water and off to bed as much as I can. I am wearing a groove between bedroom and bathroom. Worn out.

Warm fluids really do help and the guaifenesin is good stuff. I buy the generic version which is exactly the same thing as Mucinex and cheaper. The decongestant is not worth the powder and shot. Just messes you up. If I have a lot of nasal congestion and can't sleep, I do Afrin spray at night only for not longer than three days. Longer than that can trigger allergic rhinitis. If none of this puts a dent in itI go to the doctor. He may not be able to do much, but at least you can feel good that you exposed him to the cold.
