It's bloody annoying! What adds insult to injury is for the first 18 months of living here, new houses were being built behind my place. That finally finished and we had a few months of relative quiet. Now it's like it has all started again. They are redoing the pavements, resurfacing the road and installing a pedestrian crossing. Could go on a while again it seems. Was looking forward to sleeping in this morning. No such luck. Might camp out in the fields at this rate, least it will be quieter

I read in the other thread that your sleep was disrupted too last night. At least I don't have work today, so I shouldn't grumble too much. You'll get through it Big D . I hope you sleep better tonight x

Its like when its a nice day you decide oh ill open the windows and then traffic starts revving up your street and other noises.

Oh i am really drained, really puffy face and so so tired and on top of my medication side effects i just cannot be bothered.

Normally I don't get that problem in this part of the world, aside from all this building work recently it is usually very quiet and peaceful out here. I am shortly moving to a bigger town so am going to have to get used to it being noisier.

That's typically how my brain is first thing in the morning. I just think random words all the time and the "blah blahs" are even more random, often time in other language words:

Well not according to the two Standards, but hey!

In a couple more years or so, they're predicting Spanish will take over as the defacto Lingua Franca of the world instead of English.

This guy messages me and expresses his interest in me, having never had a boyfriend before;

And we for the most part know each other from Primary School (My island is small, we have only so many schools LoL, tho it's a lot for our population) and so anyways;

He tells me things, like how he's wanting to build a life with a guy and blah blah, and all the while making allusions to this "guy" being me; but never once telling me so;


But so tells me the other day, I think Sunday it was, that he's going to Virginia to go Shopping for clothes and stuff (Which is actually an economic trick we use in order to save money, as things are more expensive here than in foreign)

But has not since messaged me, and I'm really not one of those types to "Check in" or "Pine for" some one; I talk to you when I do, which I feel is pretty frequent, but I do have moments where I get engrossed in something and may not be heard from; but going from how he was carrying on, to this now;
