I was just reading a NY Times article about how VP Pence has been said to have made positive comments about Conversion Therapy in the past. I don't know much about it, so started following links and Googling...my head is reeling! I had no idea there was a Homosexuals Anonymous...or a group called Brothers On The Road Less Traveled...and OMFG, the amount of articles, videos, stories...all focusing on homosexuality as a disorder.

Obviously, I know that discrimination exists...but the sheer volume of this material, and the twisted, skewed viewpoints are so awful...I can't even absorb half of it.

My mom invited us all over to meet her new BF tonight. I didn't even know she was dating anyone seriously, my sister and brothers didn't know either.

For years, she scrutinized all of our dates and relationships with an eagle eye. It feels kind of strange to have the tables turned.
