@InbetweenDreams It must feel awful knowing you can't offer more guidance but sometimes just giving an answer can be enough as it closes down an option giving the person one less avenue to explore allowing them to put their time into other areas.

@"marshlander" Sorry to hear about the job losses within the family. The current economic situation is going to cause a lot of hardship for many people out there. Lets hope something comes their way soon.

Can't wait for the clothes I ordered to show up...since you know can't go shopping right now. Let's hope my fat ass fits into all this stuff.

I mean, I'm kind of lazy and all but I was about to start jogging and biking again and that has been seriously hampered. On the biking, so riding on the roads here in the US isn't quite as safe and not having ridden of the roads since last fall and knowing I need to get back into the swing of it, I'm a bit nervous about it. Although it was encouraging to see other people out riding yesterday when I was out for a walk.

We were able to get a rental for a week. Not sure what to do after that since the car dealerships are not allowed to sell cars until after the lock downs are lifted.

Also I have had a lot of trouble with my teeth over the last few years I think it has to do with my health issues but I woke up with a tooth hurting and hoping it doesn't get worse because most all dentist around me are not taking any patients at the moment.

Hope the dental pain improves as I know how bad it can be especially when you can't be seen!

@Mark Yeah we are waiting on the insurance company to send us a check. Then going to wait until the dealerships are opened again so we can get a new car.

@Meebs Supposedly it is a good time to buy since no one is buying a car?

I know that the markets are different over in the UK than in the US, but for me, driving 30k mile a year (or more...) having the Prius Prime (the plug-in) has saved a lot in gas, even over the regular Prius. I haven't filled up since March 10th and have almost 1,200 miles on the tank (11.3 gallon tank) and the car so far says I'm averaging 175 MPG (those are US gallons)...and who knows when I'll need gas again. I haven't had to go anywhere that much and most of the places I have been are in EV range lately...so this could be a 200+ MPG tank... Normally around 100 MPG is what I end up with not that's anything to complain about.

What's on my mind? So April is pollen month. Everything gets covered in green stuff. I don't get allergies bad, but usually enough that it makes my nose run, stuffy, just enough to make me think I'm coming down with something. Of course, you can take a guess where my mind is going...is it allergies, is it a cold....is it COVID-19? I'll certainly be glad when the pollen goes back to sane levels and hoping the summer will help slow the spread.
