@LJay Both of my parents are furloughed now, so they have no problem isolating, and they wear masks outside. I have been working from home since March 12th, so we're all virus-free. Because of this, we see each other weekly. I went to a local confectionery and got dad some chocolate covered cherries and chocolate covered raspberry jelly rings. Those are his faves.

Father’s Day in Germany is actually on one of the religious holidays around this time, Ascension, I think. But nobody is thinking about buying presents or cards for dads, they are allowed to get drunk with their friends and that’s it. My family would usually do hikes, organized by the police union, which ended with BBQ and beer.

Can't wait to see what happens tomorrow, my shady job scheduled me to come in on my day off (Sunday) and it didn't show on my calendar until today, which is something they've done to people in the past and there's nothing we can do about it. The big problem is I was already one absent point away from being fired before this because those assholes wouldn't take my doctors note when I  threw my back out or the two times I was sick from last year. Hopefully I won't be unemployed with an assault charge.

I'm feeling better today, scheduling screwed up some how but my Supervisor got it fixed. So maybe a little bit of an overreaction   but for good reason, a little over a year ago I took a week long vacation and my job took the day I was supposed to come back and moved it to my off day then marked me as a no call no show. I've been trying to get away from this company and its bullshit for a while now
