What's on Your Mind
So I am thinking about setting up an aquarium with live plants. I have an old 10 gallon (About 38 L) aquarium from way back... I got it out and seems like everything is fine, tank doesn't leak, filter pump runs, heater works but I think the thermostat has drifted and the water stays around 74 F and not 78 F, but that could be circulation... I kind of like the idea of the aquascaping and looking for some inexpensive options for lighting and plants, the hood I have doesn't make enough light for plants and lighting can be expensive... Seems like the substrate and lighting are so far the most expensive items. Anyone on here familiar with freshwater aquariums and or aquascaping?

So I half way came out to a friend of mine, I told him I'm bi  Undecided I know I should have just told him but I chickened out even with the liquid courage. But it was a positive response Smile he just said "good for you ceez" and we text about the game I was watching for a little and that was it.

I had heard about plugging your ears with extra strength Excedrin and then pouring in black cherry soda and vodka, but never known anyone who tried it!  Glad it is working well for you.  They say to be sure and use Dr. Brown's black cherry soda.  It's the best!

dr browns is exactly the type of soda i had.

something about actually seeing a doctor though and getting prescribed non expired steroids and antibiotics has worked wonders though. And having a full time job where i actually have health insurance, made that an option for me, which was nice. Because ear infection medication is really expensive, thats why i was fucking with the expired shit to begin with. So im grateful for that, but very aware its not an option for many people who dont have full time jobs.

LIKE IF ONLY THAT WASN'T THE CASE. But that would also mean full on communist gulags, right guys?

Nope. The idea that we can't have universal healthcare in the US because it is (fill in the blank) is a complete utter lie.

Quote:Today, 32 countries offer universal health coverage, in some form: Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Brunei, Canada, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom.

So yeah... Turns out a lot of people have been bamboozled into thinking that universal healthcare is bad because of how long you wait...hell I'm waiting now because I can't afford to do anything, so I do nothing... Oh, I do have "good" health insurance from work but every year they raise the deductible...

Anyway, in other news. It was really nice out today. Went to a small town art & crafts festival. It was small, like 2 blocks. I need to take and setup a booth and sell some of my paintings. There was some that weren't that large going for $700, I'm like hell if I get $100 for my crap I'd be happy lol

Don't we all. Sometimes it is better to accept things, learn not to blame yourself and move on. That being said, I get it and I've been there...sometimes I am there myself. At any rate, we're here if you want to talk.

Hey @"Lionheart08" good to see you around again. Sorry to hear you're feeling this way.

Dwelling on past decisions, and wishing you'd made different choices is an occupational hazard of being human unfortunately. We can't change the past, we can only learn from it and use that knowledge to make us stronger, and more discerning.

I hope you are able to work things out and find some peace  Bighug
