What's on Your Mind
I don't drink often, but when I do I make sure I haven't had much to eat... 2 glasses of wine and I'm in my happy place lol

My mind continues to be boggled as to how anyone could support Trump.

Me too, makes you want to study psychology and figure out why this is and how people can be either so shitty or manipulated....

I know I shouldn't speculate on things but my mom hasn't been well, honestly she's been sick or had health issues since I was 5, but this is different. Her appetite hasn't been right for well over a year and I've tried to get her to say something to to doctor for a while now. She finally did, thankfully, goes to see a gastroenterologist tomorrow. Does worry me a but given her age and all the other problems she has, it could be something simple like diet or it could be something very serious like cancer.

Puke Puke Puke

I think many of his supporters believe what he or Fox tell them, even if it is the opposite of what he/Fox told them last week. He says he’s the best president ever, natch. What probably appeals to his followers is that he gets things done or at least does things. They don’t know or don’t care that he’s breaking rules left and right. I’ve never seen a politician who tries to fulfill his campaign promises as much as he does. His followers like America first policies, his fight against illegal immigrants (and don’t care that asylum seekers are legal immigrants), his tough stance against NATO allies, etc, etc. I mean 30% of Americans still believe he did a good job with COVID.  Puke Puke

Couldn't agree with you more, Chase.

We need to take it on as our job to get people to the polls to elect Biden.  The alternative chills me.

I have long since found that the only way to handle situations like this is to be sure you know what is going on before you try to face it.  See what the doctor says and then go from there.
I bid NO Trump!

A long time friend of mine became a Trump supporter, he fits trump's targeted audience of white guys that dropped out of high school and started working, I think what got him started down that path was when Obamacare started he chose not to have health care and got hit with fines (or taxes? Whatever it's called) so when Trump talked about ending it he became his #1 supporter. He believes every single word that comes out of that crazy bastards mouth and will only watch fox news.

@InbetweenDreams I hope everything is alright with your mom, I went through a similar situation with my aunt. We found out she had a mass in her intestine but it wasn't cancerous.

Going through a period where everything seems to be on my mind. It got a bit too much last week and only by a conversation forced on me did I realise I’d cut off talking to nearest and dearest. Whenever things get a bit too much I tend to just go into some isolation bubble when really I need to talk to people.

When you really don’t want to talk to people, sometimes it means you really need to.

I don't think I'll be able to afford therapy much longer, I might have to go back to my old therapist Dr. J. Daniels.

@ceez From what I hear Dr. Daniel has taken down his shingle and is now only involved in nonprofessional pursuits. Perhaps you should contact your therapist for at least one more session to discuss the alternatives.
