Same here, kind of odd all of a sudden boom everyone has birthdays...

There's a few folks that I wish would make an appearance, or do so more often...

Ugh... I'm going to rant here. Perhaps I am a terrible human as I forgot to take my cat in for his yearly check up. He was due back in April but with all the things being closed down, even counties around here had things blocked off...it was crazy. Anyway I decided I would take him later on and long story short I forgot.

A couple years ago my cat got a urinary obstruction and almost died because I was out of town and simply didn't know what was going on with him. So now he has this "special" cat food that I had to get vet approval to get (apparently). Not sure how this stuff works abroad but regulations here are kind of lax and misleading, in fact Hills owns the term "Prescription Diet" and other companies can get sued. The fact of the matter this food does not have any medication in it, it simply is a therapeutic food for cats with kidney problems.

I normally do autoship on Chewy.com and his order was just about due. Well since I ran into bambi the other day and he's not out of food and won't be for a while I skipped the autoship and will order later. However, I get a call from the vet this morning and they told me they will not approve the food because they haven't seen him in over a year. Now, I realize these foods can in some cases be a problem for cats...supposedly. And yes I do plan on taking my cat in for a check up as soon as I find out whether I am paying a deductible or a deductible and a new car... I really feel like this is a form of extortion than anything else. There is nothing that I am aware of that the vet must do or any sort of law or regulation that would prohibit me from ordering the food. Not sure if I am just overlooking something but this sort of stuff just grinds my gears...

What has made you come to that conclusion?

Not that anyone asked, I don't think god exists in that he's some santa claus looking guy in the clouds doing us favors because we kiss his ass and do silly rituals. I can't say I've completely come to terms of what god is or isn't... I really don't like using the term god for that matter, rather I just call it the divine and until I have a better answer for me I think it seems more appropriate. That all being said, I am curious as to how other people think about things like this who aren't how shall I say, drinking the kool-aid for lack of better description.

people kept telling me, "Gods got something good for you" since I was little and the something never came. plus a lot of people that claim to be Christian are fucking awful. Life just sucks, people say bad folks will get what s coming to them but i dont see it happen. just shit I think about when i"m drunk
