Positive vibes everyone, I had a pretty good week I got a badass new jeep this cute bear sold me, I played hooky monday and I got my sex toy . Apparently sometimes Amazon ships through the post office and the delivery date/message gets all screwed up.

My sister is a teacher. So was her friend/colleague. The school is on 3-week break so my sister hasn't seen her friend since then.

Yesterday she received a message that her friend/colleague has passed away from Covid. She was in a critical condition in a very short time. She was young.

We know Covid is terrible but it gives you a different perspective when someone closer to you passed away due to Covid. My sister is in a sad state right now.

Covid running rampant in my country right now.

This hurts and infuriates with all the wasted doses and narrow minded nuts refusing in the US land of plenty. Reading this is like a punch in the gut. I'm trying to do what little things I can here, like confronting and trying to do it in an encouraging way. Hoping for the tide to turn all over the suffering world.

Does anyone have any tips on staying calm when driving through heavy traffic and complicated freeway and overpasses?

Try listening to whatever media, music, talk, books, at a volume you can clearly hear if you listen but can't if your not actively listening. Make sure it is what you want to listen to and train yourself to return to listening if you stray. This works for many and has the opposite effect if you don't attend to the factors already mentioned.
