Any superhero comic book fans on here?

Just started reading the new Deadpool/Spiderman issues. I've basically grown up with spider-man as my favourite super hero, from the 1960's cartoon ( had re-runs when I was a child during the 90's) to the Tobey Maguire trilogies. Oddly, while I spent lates on comic wiki pages, I had never legitimately read a spider-man comic book until a few years ago.

Figures Toy Company just announced that the second set of Jr. Super Friends are soon to be released.

No new updates to my collection yet. I'm waiting for pre-orders to start for the latest Super Friends figures.

I ordered Super Friends series 3 today.



The four-pack includes Batman & Flash, and the first two Legion of Doom dolls, Mr. Freeze and Riddler.

4 more heroes are left.....Green Lantern, Hawkman, and Wendy & Marvin, and then the rest are all Legion of Doom members.

Cyborg is packaged as a Teen Titan here, but he was also in the last season of Super Friends, when they were called Galactic Guardians.

Got home yesterday, and 4 more Super Friends were waiting at the door! You'll note the Cybor's cart IDs him as a Teen Titan. That's true. In the comis, he did start as a Teen Titan. On the cartoon, he was a Super Friend in their last season. So I have Flash, Green Lantern, Batman & Cyborg. Only Hawkman and the original Jr. Super Friends (Wendy, Marvin & Wonder Dog) are left.

To keep them company, members of the Legion of Doom are starting to show up. Toyman, Riddler, Capt. Cold, Bizarro and Cheetah.

Just when I think I'll be stopping my collection soon....




A company called "Fan Sets" has produced a bunch of pins to sell. Star Trek characters, Harry Potter characters, and DC Super Heroes.

one of the pins on the site was Apache Chief from Super Friends.




I posted a message to see if they plan to go through the whole Super Friends line, and they replied that they did indeed plan on getting through the whole line.

Nothing new for the collection, waiting for the next wave to appear.

It appears that my fave characters The Wonder Twins, came back from limbo in the 00s to appear in the series Young Justice, a sort of updated Teen Titans book. The twins appeared in about 4 issues.

In this issue, the entire group is getting ready to invade a hostile country. Don't ask me to name all the characters, but some are Superboy, Captain Marvel Jr., Slo-Bo, Wonder Girl, Secret, Empress, and Arrowette. Zan & Jayna are in the upper left corner.
