I think you make an excellent point! This is exactly the kind of answer that most people would relate to. We feel the need to "fit in" and as a result are under unnecessary pressure to do/buy/say things we otherwise wouldn't. Makes total sense! Love the post!

Thank again!

Its alright. Its nice to have to think about things haha.

I agree it is an underlying need to fit in. Something that everyone has done as some point in their life. Even as a kid - you have all these fads like for me it was Pokemon cards and Tamagotchi's and EVERY kid had them whether they liked it or not. Society has always had I guess a safety in numbers feel and very rarely do you find a true individual. But as I said once you get into it you tend to get slightly hooked and carry on. Drinking I guess is another example of this.. for some reason 8/10 kids would definitely have a drink on the birthday that relates to the legal drinking age.. You don't have to but everyone does its just a social norm. Anyway I'm ranting a bit haha.

I learn to love it more and more.

Then again, I've also lived on my own terms since I was 16, and even before that as much as I was able under the roof of my parents. I don't have a lot of regrets. Possibly I regret having dropped out of college before getting my masters, as it seems much harder to get back to it than it had to go the first time around.

That said? As I already said, anything that would change where I am today, and especially who I'm -with- today? I wouldn't risk changing. No matter what it was.

Yes, I am similar.

But I think I should be less shy.

BTW, Twist, you should definitely get back to your masters. It's been several years since my undergrad and not only am I returning to Uni next year, I'm going to study medicine. It's NEVER too late and don't create your first major regret by not trying it out!

*Grins* Damn but you make me proud

I love who you are, exactly as you are....and you're right, all of your decisions, all of life's experiences have made you what you are today..into the beautiful man that you have become.

You're amazing, my love.

hard to say, I don't really understand when people are judging me or not, and to be honest I don't really care what other people think of me.

I think a better question would be how would I change my behaviour if I didn't have such a mistrustful judgement of myself.
