A Majority of Gay Couples Have 'Arrangements' For Outside Sex

EVERY couple has an agreement for "outside" sex.

I can handle if he had sex with someone else...I can't handle lying about it.

I definitely want to know because basically if he is having sex with them he is exposing me to their health history.....and vice versa...

I would not shame him or make him feel guilty or bad about it if he did do it...it is about being able to trust my partner.

I doubt that that poll is wholly and completely accurate.

But the when it comes to personal matters like sex, and relationship humans do not tend to be wholly and completely accurate about their own relationships.

My BF and I have been making things work for 5 years staying monogamous in spite of 8,000 miles and just seeing each other every 3-4 months. Early into it we had the 1st talk about sex with others and we both had the same bad feelings about it and said 'thanks but no thanks.' We do repeats of the 'you have permission if you need to do it' conversation all the time but it always gets down to..."I can make it another month without going crazy."

Also the 3rd night he and I got together we both knew we were in it for the long haul and stayed up 24 hours trying to get around to telling each other. Once we jumped that puddle things began to fit together fast.

I doubt that that poll is wholly and completely accurate.

I have my doubts, but it's because I'm always leery of polls about glbt people. With our history of how we've been treated by the world, people are cautious, even those out completely out of the closet, when being asked by a stranger on the other end of the phone or somewhere holding a clipboard. It's difficult to get accurate numbers when you can't first get an accurate idea of the population you are targeting for your poll.
