So... a few months back, I wrote a short story about a teenager struggling coming out to his teacher. It was obviously inspired by the events of my own life, and the teacher that I had back in elementary. My high school English teacher suggested that I enter it into a contest, and then just last month I found out that I won and my story was published among other students in the area!
