Getting teste

so I got tested last week for the first time in my life for HIV and it was a rapid test. They took some of my blood and in 5 minutes I knew the result. I was negative

I was so scared to go and catch something at one of these HIV clinics that I never went myself. Maybe I was afraid of going because I didnt want to know the results

But I feel much relief!!

I am posting this to encourage everyone to get tested, especially if there is a free venue in order to do so.For myself it was a taboo subject, but someone convinced me to go just to clear my mind and I finally did it. It was so easy!

I had an extensive check up in April. No cholesterol, diabetes, HIV.
Feels good.
