instead of taking off my muddy shoes when I come into the house for a few minutes, I just wipe them really good on the ugly carpet we have in the kitchen. Seriously, you could s*** on that thing and squish it in with your foot and no one would ever know, not saying I've done that myself, but just saying...

Couldn't be my man - I removed all the carpeting years ago and we don't have any goldfish.
