Go on. But slower.
I'm trying to get my appetite somewhat under control. I've gotten to the point where I'm ravenous during lunch and dinner, and could probably eat until my pants split open (in all the wrong places). So I'm trying to bring it back down.
I tried this before, and it worked quite well. I buy a sub sandwich on the way into work, and leave it in the fridge. Every 60 or 90 minutes, I take it out of the fridge, eat two bites of it, and then put it back. And that's my "lunch" for the day. It keeps my metabolism going, but spreads the "meal" out over about eight hours. I also have oyster crackers at my desk, and I'll eat a few of those now and then if I'm feeling especially hungry.
It wasn't until I started this back up again that I realized I had an overlap of "things". After going vegetarian for about six weeks at the start of the year, I went back to my carnivore ways, but I'm sticking with being a vegetarian one day of the week - Tuesday. So I thought I was going to be stuck with a "veggie delite" sandwich for today. But instead, I decided to try the veggie patty. I've had it before and enjoyed it, but wasn't sure if I'd enjoy it cold. Ends up it's not half bad. So I'll probably stick with that on Tuesdays.
...so what am I doing now? Having the last two bites of my veggie patty sandwich.
