Typical bank holiday weather here really, cloudy and windy. Feels more like November if it wasn't for the birdsong :/

Haha tbh as soon as I stepped out the door it clouded over... :/ but it beats the torrential rain and thunder from yesterday!

My husband took our little female doggie (Speed-Bump) to the beach yesterday,, and Speed-bump had a bad allergic reaction to something she came into contact with while there. Her little face was all swollen up and she had red patches all over her.

We took her to the Doggie Emergency Room and they gave her a couple shots and told us to keep an eye on her until the swelling and red patches disappear... So,,, I stayed up most of the night keeping an eye on her. The swelling & red patches disappeared by 4 AM, so I took her to bed and got a couple hours sleep.

This morning she started swelling again and the red patches returned. Took her to our regular Vet and she is doing better this afternoon.... Hurray!!!!

We still don't know what gave her the allergic reaction, possibly sand fleas, possibly yellow flies,, who knows... I don't think we'll be taking her to the beach again!!!
