Plotting and scheming.

* I currently have three gigs this month, one in June, and two in July.

* Two of the ones this month are pretty much set. I need to do a bit of rehearsal/practice, but if I had to go on right now, I could do it.

* The third one in May needs a bit of work. I need to talk to some of the other performers, and make sure the venue is ready.

* For both the June and July gigs, I need to get a line-up together...but I couldn't make a move until I learned who else was going to be taking part. Oddly, the July gig has released two rounds of performers already, so I have a wish-list going for that one. The one in June JUST released their first round of performers, so I'm now reaching out to some I want to work with. Two have already said yes.

* I still haven't ruled out an August gig. If I get that one, this entire year will be in the "I can die happy" file.

My friend mentioned something about the TV show The Flash last night, and the ensuing conversation sort of spiraled out of control. Here was the eventual topic:

Given any given TV show, past or present...would the addition of a giant, super-intelligent, telepathic gorilla DEFINITELY improve the show, POTENTIALLY improve the show (depending on how it was used), or NOT improve the show? Explain your position.

For instance - Dancing With The Stars would POTENTIALLY be improved by the addition of a giant, super-intelligent, telepathic gorilla. He (she?) would not make a good judge, as he would presumably not be a good judge of dance. However, he would probably make an excellent "staving off elimination" dance partner. After all, if you dance well with a giant, super-intelligent, telepathic gorilla, you probably can dance well with anybody.

...I tend to get involved in some weird conversations.
