My immediate responce is no, but then I look back at my last reltionship of 14 years where the last 12 years there was no sex.
Well none for me - he on the other hand had many, many sexual partners for those last 12 years.
Ignorance being bliss and all of that shit I survived and was content with the arraignment.
I guess as long as I feel that I am loved its ok. Mind that means you don't even have to love me, just lead me to believe that I am.
Yeah.... I am that sick.

It's not for me, but if that is an arrangement that works for another couple, and both of them agree to it, it is not my place to judge or say the relationship inappropriate. You often see this kind of judgment from some gays about the arrangements in other gay couple's relationships.

I wouldn't mind not having sex, but I don't think I could consider myself in a relationship with someone if we couldn't even be naked around each other.

if two people are in a relationship, they should love and trust each other and be devoted to each other. This is what I believe....no other people should be involved because that means they aren't really in love/devoted. Sharing your body is just one of the many parts of yourself you should be prepared to share with a significant other. Trust is so important and often undervalued.

It's easy to say no when you're young, but I assume with age (and wisdom?) dealing with the frailties of age: diabetes, high blood pressure, ED, ... we learn that intimacy and companionship... love... is more than just sticking your sick in a willing participant.

Sex =/= relationship
No sex =/= just friends
It's way more complicated than that, IMO. There ARE loving couples who aren't sexually active. What if your partner got an illness that ruined his sex drive and maimed his organ? Would you no longer be partners?
I could do it, but only if my partner was in the room participating in some way, with his arms around me or something. So I could express my love for him.

Then it means you're living a platonic bromance with him, not a boyfriendship. If you're really in love with each other & there's good trust, he shouldn't refuse sex with you. Unless he's hiding something or scared...
