About 10 years ago I had the lazer hair removal. It cost me 200 dollars a session and it took about 5 sessions over about an 18 month span. It worked, and I still have very little hair on my back (maybe 10 to 12 stragglers I can pluck) and just the right amount on my chest.
I'm happy with it.

I guess I have decided to shave the back hair and leave the chest hair since I like it that way... Hopefully, later on I will be able to afford hair laser removal! lol

I think that some guys will love that you are hairy, some guys will hate it but the overwhelming majority wont notice either way.

We tend to get our mind set warped by pop cultures view of beauty. I think most of us are just happy to find someone we connect with.
