just watched the season premier a few hours ago( recorded on dvr) and wow! Carol was badass and talk about an episode filled with nail bitters, and you know who is back, yay! (those that watched know who i'm talking about )

I was really scared after the girls last season she'd lose her resolve. Killing walkers is one thing. Killing Adults can be somewhat justified in their world. But children?

And it's not like she's cold blooded. You can see it in her eyes. A compassion and sorrow you don't see in Mishone (sp?) Whom is more vengeful and angry.

Good point! Besides her being my favorite character starting sometime in season three...I was really hoping that the writers would do her justice because we often don't get good kick ass character development...or they drop the ball..

I think her resolve (and compassion) comes from the moment she saw her daughter walk out of that barn a zombie. I think she hated how she couldn't protect her and something in her brain clicked ...a protective thing maybe...and so she can see a situation maybe more clear than her peers. If Andrea had listened to her she would be alive today....

Carol has been my favorite character for awhile now and I was HOPING that the writers would further develop her character and give her layers and dimension...and they did not disappoint.

She has been heading into badass territory since she killed the peeps at the prison and then last season with the girls....

My favorite part was when she said "I DON'T BELIEVE YOU" to the a*shole so matter of fact...and she has maybe the calmest and clearest head on her shoulders at the moment because she sees things as they are...I think after Sophia died she began this process....

I think Carol always had that inner badass in her, it was just waiting to be let out. She used to be the submissive and beaten wife but over the seasons, having to deal with all the death and tragedy, she strengthened her resolve, and it toughened her, and brought out the motherly lioness in her. She's a fighter and is finally able to be a very proactive and contributing member of the group.

Carol, you have converted me and I am now a fan.

It's actually not that hard. My brothers and I used to shoot them off all the time when we were younger, we may not have hit our targets, but we would get close. When there's a tank spewing propane all over, 'close' is all you need.

I didn't realize that Tyreese had a problem killing before this week...which would make sense why he freaked about Carol killing the "zombies to be" at the prison before they ate anyone..

I get the feeling when he told her he killed the guy he finally "got it"...
