I was completely shocked when Carol was rolled in. Considering she and Daryl were following the car because it had the cross on it, I'm hoping that she let them 'save' her from something and she found a way in to Beth.

I am hoping that Carol gets out of this storyline alive, she's become my favorite character.

F U C K ....why the hell did they have to roll Carol in? I am worried now that she will die in there. Beth showed at least a little bit of resourcefulness which warmed me up a bit to her but if Carol has to depend on Beth for help...she is screwed I think. I hope they surprise me....

I missed the first 15 minutes though...damnit.....traffic...did they show Daryl and whoever he was with at the beginning?

The young guy that Beth helped escape...was he on before somewhere? I am confused because I know the actor is the guy who played Chris in Everybody Hates Chris and I am not sure if I am remembering him from there or on TWD somewhere....

No East, they didn't pick up from last week at all. The first scene was Beth waking up in the hospital, hooked up to IV fluids, a clock running (showing they had power somehow) and a view of Atlanta, which looked desolate and devastated. She unhooked the IV and pounded on the door, which was locked, for help. This except from Entertainment Weekly puts it better than I do...
Quote:...we quickly learn that a different, tidy fanaticism rules Grady Memorial Hospital, as personified by police officer Dawn Lerner (Christine Woods, best known for Go On and Hello Ladies): Order at all costs, down to clothing on their backs.

Lerner quickly makes that clear after explaining to Beth how she ended up there: They rescued her from "rotters" on the side of the road, "so you owe us." That debt informs the rest of "Slabtown," though the terms of it are never made clear. Beth owes them something for saving her, for her food, and presumably her shelter. She works off that debt as a nurse/assistant to Dr. Steven Edwards (Eric Jensen), the good cop to Lerner’s bad cop (and Cullen Moss' worse cop, who would like to repaid sexually).
........................Entertainment Weekly, Nov 2nd, 2014

Entertainment weekly isn't calling it a flashback, but if it isn't flashing back then Beth must have been unconscious in that hospital room for quite a while. Not to mention the time she spent there trying to pay back the debt she owes them for "saving" her.

My suspicion is that Carol is somehow "saved" the same way Beth was, but that Carol's main goal was to find out what happened to Beth, or perhaps help free her from within. I just guessin' though.

I think Daryl brings Noah, the orderly who successfully escaped, back to the others at the church.

But there I go thinkin' again. Gotta stop that sh*t. We'll see soon enough, one way or the other.

OUCH! Eugene...uh...that was a big lie. I don't think I could get past it. The price of his lie was waaaaayyyyyy too steep. How do you move on from that?

At least it is nice that when he comes clean he really went for it. That would be the only possible way I could forgive him.....at least he owned that he was a manipulative liar..but still...look what it cost so many people......I dunno....as a viewer he is gonna have to convince me why he shouldn't become zombie chow.

I knew there was something about Eugene that wasn't sitting right with me. Liar liar, pants on fire! LOL

I will admit that I laughed at the flashback scene, where the three zombies were chasing him, and he's calling for help......he looked like he was skipping. Dude.....run!!

last night's episode made me feel for Abraham. like his whole "purpose" to go on living was a "lie." first, to discover that his family didn't survive and he was ready to "pull" the trigger. then, to find some meaning by helping Eugene only to be devastated by it. poor Abraham....

side note: the spectrum of the episode from that moment with Rosita to the end of the episode.
