Hmmm.....I really disliked Beth but tonight...it all changed. I do like fighters and bad asses so her character was not interesting at all to me but tonight she showed she had some balls ....very nice turnaround....

I want a zombie to eat preacher boy...QUICK. I think it is funny on The Talking Dead when he said he seems to know every zombie LOL...I was laughing about that so I am glad he said it. He has that drama queen thing goin' on. I am glad there is only one of him.

The cops...uh....there MUST be some decent people still alive...do they all have to be buttwipes?

Any prediction for next week? I heard a major character death is coming. I think it might be Beth. If it is Carol I will be pissed off....

They've already "offed" one character this season, but with all the gossip I suppose another character could be killed off. Actually I hope not. It would be nice to finally see the core group consolidate and work toward a goal that doesn't end up like the prison, of terminus. I haven't read the comic series, but I know there have been some big differences in plot line and character line up (Daryl).

I think a huge percentage of viewers will be ticked if Carol is killed off. The character of Carol is finally evolving, more of her past emerging, and more of her issues are being dealt with. I think last week's Thelma & Louise moment in the truck was kind of telling. So much more could be written with them in mind.

And since Beth is just rejoining the story, you can almost feel a sort of Noah/Beth storyline happening. If there is a death of Daryl, Carol, or Beth its going to be traumatic, which is maybe what they're looking for in a mid-season finale. I'm just not looking forward to it, that's all.

It sort of pissed me off, that whole Sasha falling for BS from that cop. Like there wasn't a soul at any home in the US not screaming, "What the hell are you doing? You're fu*king smarter than that!". What writer came up with that "I recognized a walker" BS story and expected any person to buy into crap like that? Annoying, but I guess they have to drive the story forward somehow.

One area where they didn't drive the plot much of anywhere was Abraham's group. That was all angst and not much more. Sometimes when the writer's decide to illustrate the evolution of a character the story just crawls. So Abraham wants to live now. Yippee. Could we move it along now folks?

(Boy, I sound really bitchy tonight, don't I?) Laugh

Well, I'm not a member of any walking dead forums, I do read them from time to time. I don't want to spoil anything for anyone, so I've put the post further down. If you don't want to read it, scroll by quickly!

According to the walking dead forum (although not confirmed) it appears that it's possible there are two deaths - Beth and Tyrese.

Apparently the actors who portray those characters have not been on set, while Norman Reedus (Daryl) and Melissa McBride (Carol) have been.

Another big hint is the name of the episode. "Coda" A coda is an ending part of a piece of music or a work of literature or drama that is separate from the earlier parts. : something that ends and completes something else.

Beth has often talked of music, or occasionally sang on the show. Also, the actress who portrays her has a career in music as well, and reportedly wants to leave the show to focus on her music career.

Your theory Cellardweller makes the most sense. That's likely why they've given her a strong 180 so early so we can mourn and maybe complain.

I think the biggest complaint is the point about Sasha. I thought that whole piece was too obvious and she even discussed it afterward on the Talking Dead of how it was a psychological study by the writers. I found it a bit simplistic but the show has such a broad audience it makes sense that some of it would try to convey complex matters in a dumbed down fashion for the masses.

Regardless, I'm ALL IN!!! Fun...fun...fun! Xyxthumbs

Ive just watched the mid season ender.

Not enjoying this season as much as the previous ones. Im not a follower of the books, but enjoy(ed) the TV series.

However now they have moved away from the one show one storyline (start to finish) Im starting to loose the plot with all this back and forth stuff.

Tonight is the mid season finale and they have done a great job setting it up.....

I think it is interesting as the people at the hospital...the cops...don't realize they are monsters....

I know a main character dies tonight...my bet is that it will be Beth. As long as Carol and Daryl and Rick and Michonne are alive at the end it will be OK with me whoever it is....

While not holding my breath, I'm crossing my fingers that it's not Carol. I'm leaning towards Beth dying tonight.
