gotta say, this episode left me cold. I mean, they went through these episodes making Beth into a mini-badass, and then what does she do? She jabs scissors into someone who is wearing bullet-proof vests and battle clothes. I also don't get the whole thing with Carol this episode. We see her unconscious in the bed....then she's in a wheelchair near the end, and then she's walking away from the hospital under her own power.

Well, I am happy that Carol lives to see another day. Now they just need to get rid of that preacher. Really? brings a whole herd of walkers to the church? damn.

I am really excited now to see the introduction of the gay character. I like what I read so far...he sounds like a great badass!

I heard there also might be a gay couple coming up down the line...that would be cool!

We definitely need a gay man who is a badass. You see...this show is unprecedented as it captures every demo (VERY RARE...almost unheard of)...especially the normally football only crowd. It is an advertisers wet dream...the whole point of TV shows is to sell shit just like the whole point of the big internet sites is to get a marketing profile on each and every consumer on the planet...so they can sell shit..and The Walking Dead is the gold standard on TV at the moment and has been for quite some time now.....

There is not a more visible and larger audience right now with these dream across the board demos so introducing a gay male character where the gay is a non issue and the individual and group survival IS the issue is an important cultural step forward. TV is a great medium...

Howabout a gay dude whose partner is a walker but he refuses to dump him because they were finally able to get married right before the outbreak after 20 years of waiting for it to be legal. And he takes his vows VERY seriously!

Anyway, he tries everything to snap his partner out of it but nothing works, so he resorts to sex and comes up with the idea to bring another guy home for them. Fast-forward... his partner keeps eating the guys he brings home to his extreme dismay... enter: the other survivors... annnnd ACTION!

Damn, I should have been a screenwriter.

I kinda had a gut feeling that Beth's number was up on the midseason finale, but damn it if I didn't really start to like her towards the end!
Know what would have been a REAL plot twist for midseason? EVERYONE LIVES! Nobody would see THAT coming! xsighsx oh, well... Or they could could have REALLY shocked (and excited) us by just killing the Preacher Man! ....or Eugune.....
