The Walking Dead
JackBoneTX Wrote:Oh yes, I remember that now. I was thinking of the governor too, how he kept his daughter. I guess a lot of people would do that...

That is probably true and I think that a storyline about maybe a colony of those kinds of people would be a cool idea. They could maybe do the sacrificial Mayan thing to "appease the Gods"...that would be scary. George Romero did it with the Zombie Island movie..forgot the exact name of it. It was interesting...

Know what would have been a REAL plot twist for midseason? EVERYONE LIVES! Nobody would see THAT coming! xsighsx oh, well... Or they could could have REALLY shocked (and excited) us by just killing the Preacher Man! ....or Eugune.....

YES.............PLEASE make Preacher Man and Eugene die...

Preacher Man reminds me of when I am watching Naked and Afraid and they have a new age vegetarian type who wont kill.. or disturb nature ...and even though I would normally sympathize or agree with them..I find myself getting irritated with them because they are risking their lives..and the lives of their partners.

Apparently there is a gay character in the comic book series. I didn't know so I had to do some digging (didn't find a zombie either). I thought Robert Kirkman was maybe just adding the gay character to appease the gay community (I think JackBone and East were writing something along those lines earlier here).

Aaron, illustrated in the comic book series.

Quote:..."I can make it official; Daryl Dixon is actually straight, but coming back in the next half of the season we’re going to be introducing a very prominent gay character from the comics that’ll be debuting,” said Kirkman.

It’s likely that Kirkman is referring to a character named Aaron (below), who first appeared in Issue #67 of the comic series he created. Aaron is a resident of the Alexandria Safe-Zone community, which is rumored to be a main setting in the fifth season’s second half.

Quote:Kirkman is likely referring to Aaron, a character that appeared in issue #67 of the comic. He lives in the Alexandria Safe-Zone which coincidently is where the next part of the fifth season is rumored to be set.

Aaron works as a "recruiter" for the safe zone. His character in the book is the one that leads Team Rick to Alexandria and is the first face of the new arc that you see. Provided that the show follows the book [the comic book series].

This of course is not official but it's unlikely that it could be anyone else given the current information. The Walking Dead comes back in February to pick up and finish out the rest of season 5.

All this is rumor of course. Even if it is true who knows what direction Kirkman is likely to go with the character as he's gone off the reservation in regards to deviating from the original comic book source material before.

Second Half of S5 speculations (kinda creepy)........

http://www.ibtimes.com/walking-dead-seas...ns-1772988

.......So, who are “the Whisperers”? Fans of Robert Kirkman’s “Walking Dead” comic book series will definitely recognize the name of the frightening group of humans. The Whisperers were first introduced in the fourth part of Volume 22: “A New Beginning,” Issue 130, which was released on Aug. 13. In the issue, a survivor named Marco was rescued from the woods. The man was disturbed, suffering greatly while trying to escape from walkers with his injured friend, Ken. But despite his traumatic experience, Marco insisted on one thing – the zombies were talking.

As “Walking Dead” fans know, zombies can’t talk. So how did Marco hear the walkers whispering? Marco wasn’t hearing things and the zombies did not evolve. The survivor had stumbled across a group of humans who wear the skin of walkers on their face in order to blend in........

There are a lot of good possibilities I think. The writing is decent and cohesive so it could be great...

I wonder though...could these pretend walkers get snuffed out accidentally?

Eeeek! I loved this show. They only had 3 season on (eu)Netflix/HBO if I remember correctly though, so I'm impatiently waiting for more.

As for eye candy. Daryl is too skinny, but he's the closest thing to eye-candy, for me.
