The Walking Dead
OMG...I fucking love Carol even more now....

"Why did you lie to them?"..."Because they are children...and children love stories"

"You say you don't want to take this place...and you don't want to lie? Awww...sunshine...you don't get both"

Are they trying to make her the best female character...ever... on TV? Me and my BF want to adopt her LOL

OMG..what she did to the wife beating surgeon with the knife...DAMN "You are a small weak nothing"..."I want my dish back clean when you're done" :LOLOLOL

Poor Sasha. I thought last week I didn't get her change of character...I was wrong. I missed a lot...and I rewatched it...and it completely makes sense. The scene with her laying amongst the zombies...brilliant!

I like Rick again....LOVE that he told Carl the truth and didn't pretend anything. I am starting to think Carol might be a better leader though...

Daryl and Aaron...DAMN....that was scary. It has been awhile since there was that much suspense. I love them together as friends....and Morgan showing up was perfect because I didn't think they were gonna make it.

Father Gabriel...I REALLY wanted the zombies to eat him...what an asshole....I think I hate him ore than any other character ever on YWD.

Those two "wolves"...great set up for next season....

GREAT GREAT SEASON FINALE...the final scenes...EXCELLENT WRITING!!!!

I've been waiting all season to see when they would bring Morgan in, I'm glad he came in when he did. I don't see the "wolves" putting up much of a fight for Rick though. Awesome seaon finale, I can't wait to see how the new spin off is going to be.

Loved the finale! I really like that the themes of love, forgiveness and tolerance get explored through all the various story lines. The Talking Dead afterward was fun as hell too! This show does a great job showing how a good leader is nothing without people worth leading. Just imagine him as a leading without any one of the others. Carol's cunning skills are essential, but so are Maggie's...and on and on. I was so against the paster all the way up to Maggie taking his hand and acknowledging his admission of guilt. The gesture of love and compassion totally stopped me in my tracks on the hate train. Same with Glenn sparing the asshole who tried to kill him. And same thing for Morgan with the new wolf characters. And then Abraham and Eugene too. Skillful screenplay adaptation for the writers for sure.

OK...so much for all the Republicans in Indiana...er...I mean the homophobes...who took to social networks to insist they were never going to watch TWD again when they introduced the gay charactcers.....

(pssssttt...they were lying!)

WEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL FOLKS....looks like someone was full of shit. They just got their highest season finale ratings EVER! 15.8 million and a whopping 10.4 Million 8.2 18-49 DEMO...that is HUGE.....

From zap2it....

NEW YORK, NY – March 30, 2015 – The special 90-minute season five finale of “The Walking Dead” last night was the highest-rated finale in series history, delivering 15.8 million viewers and 10.4 million adults 18-49. The episode capped the show’s strong fifth season with all 16 episodes ranking in the top 20 entertainment telecasts across all of television this broadcast season among adults 18-49. When including sports and specials, all 16 episodes of “The Walking Dead” season five rank in the top 50 telecasts across all of television among adults 18-49 – the first time a series has achieved this in cable history. With time-shifted playback added in, this season finale of “The Walking Dead” should exceed more than 20 million viewers and 14 million adults 18-49.

“The Walking Dead” remains the #1 show in all of television among adults 18-49. Despite formidable competition from the NFL in the first half of its season and special event programming in the second half, such as the Oscars, the Grammys, the Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary Special and the NBA All-Star Game, the show’s fifth season has delivered an average of 14.4 million viewers and 9.4 million adults 18-49 live/same day across its 16 episodes, an increase of 9% season over season in adults 18-49.

Also last night, “Talking Dead” achieve its highest-rated episode in series history, drawing 7.5 million viewers and 4.9 million adults 18-49. Each week, the live “Talking Dead” aftershow features host Chris Hardwick and fans, actors, producers and other TV enthusiasts discussing that night’s “The Walking Dead” premiere. Last night’s season finale featured Norman Reedus (Daryl), Melissa McBride (Carol) and Lennie James (Morgan).

“The Walking Dead” and “Talking Dead” were among the top 3 telecasts in all of cable among adults 18-49 for 12 out of the 16 weeks they aired this season; for six of those weeks, they were the #1 and #2 telecasts, respectively. This season, “Talking Dead” solidified its position as a top 10 show across all of television in adults 18-49 – an astonishing level of success for an aftershow originally conceived as a way to provide an on-air focal point for the conversation that followed episodes of “The Walking Dead,” particularly in social media.

Last night’s season five finale “The Walking Dead” was also the #1 most engaging series of the day on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Tumblr, outperforming all cable, broadcast and streaming episodic series.

“It’s tough enough in today’s competitive environment to command attention, and even harder to hold onto it. So, for ‘The Walking Dead’ to maintain this level of urgent viewership in its fifth season – and to end with the highest-rated finale in series history – is really something rare and remarkable,” said Charlie Collier, AMC president. “We’re thankful to Robert Kirkman, Scott Gimple, Chris Hardwick, our fantastic executive producers and the talented writers, cast and crews for delivering another season of Unforgettable and engaging television. And to the many amazing people who drive the passion for this program across multiple platforms, I paraphrase (and welcome back) Morgan when I say, ‘All fans are precious.’”

I'm hesitant... For this reason/example:

I love superheroes... but I wasn't a huge fan of "Smallville", and I haven't watched one single episode of the new "Gotham". I didn't care much for the newer Star Wars movies.

I'm just not the kinda guy who needs a bunch of back story prequalling how the "heroes" got to be there. It's like reading a best friends' high school diary after you've known him as an adult for years.

I'm glad I love it! Smallville, Gotham, back story, I love it all. BUT, I don't think what you describe is where they will go with the second show. Wavey
