The Walking Dead
everyone is waiting for Negan, I'm waiting for Alpha and The Whisperers

I'm a little perplexed with the ending of this week's episode.

While I will miss her, I'm sure this means she's not gone for good.

You know, If I cared more about this show I'd be ticked that you all are so casually spoiling it all.

Thankfully I don't care more about this show.

just one more episode this season...who will Lucille aka neegan's bat meet?

we can hypothesize who will meet his/her fate but my $$$ is on Abraham.

and seriously, now...daryl should have kiiled Dwight way back when! but good job on Eugene for taking out the "d" and leaving it as a wight now!

^ In a perfect world it would be annoying "Coral," but that's obviously not going to happen. Jesus seems poised to supplant Daryl as Rick's right hand man, but will they have the guts to brutally kill off such a fan favorite? It's all looking like a setup for yet another cliffhanger extravaganza, so whatever.

Im excited for tonight, but I am also totally ready to be disappointed by exactly what NativeSon said - a big lead up to just a cliff hanger.

I'm getting a little tired of the villains on the show. it reminds me of watching wrestling as a kid, not the real stuff but the WWF, the bad guys would win 75% of the time. it's frustrating watching the protagonist getting beat over the head all time. plus it kind of pissed me off that they left us with another cliff hanger, I like it better when there's some kind of closure at the end of a season, then I become curious of what the next season will offer but now we know Neagan kills someone big on the show and terrorizes the group.

after watching talking dead ... it was two fold from scott gimple (one of the creators and executive producers of twd).

the first was: rick's group and their feeling that as long as his group stays together, they can get over anything. and carl reiterated that during their walk in those woods at night. so for neegan to show up, it was to demonstrate that, nope. not in this world.

the second thing was the cliff hanger..cuz that sets up season 7.

Can't be really mad at that season finale. It was so in line with what has transpired since S2. The only real problem I see is that, A. ending as a cliffhanger only serves to diminish the emotional impact, and B. it WILL be spoiled. So, honestly, what's the point?

And getting back to my comment about "spoilers" a few posts above, can't say I was really upset about that either. I was just being dramatic. Water cooler - social media discussion is the driving force for this show. That said, thank the maker (and I don't mean GRRM) that Game of Thrones is now MOSTLY safe--for the time being, anyway.
