Five Questions
meridannight Wrote:@princealbertofb, i noticed you capitalized my sentences and changed my American English into British English. you sneaky!

i doubt that.
There may be two ways of writing the language (actually there are many more) but written English still has standards, be they American or English, or other.

I'm an English teacher and so I can spell the way I know things ought to be spelt (in my own posts)... and generally rely on what the dictionaries say to keep the words relevant and clear, so even if I need to quote someone, I don't see any sense in perpetuating bad spelling habits, when they are not called for.

I understand that you prefer to write sentences without a capital I pronoun, or without a capital letter at the beginning of a question or a sentence, but it still doesnt make it standard practice. It's just loose English (I've seen this word so often confused with lose -- not even the same pronunciation, go and explain that to learners of the language!) and that's fine by me, as long as the message remains clear. Some people have reasons for not having very good spelling, such as learning difficulties, being a foreigner using the language, etc, I get that too.

Wun dei wheel bee aloud two right inglish ne witch weigh wee want.... Will it make sense? Will computer translators be able to make anything of it?

To address the other issue, maybe I looked better than the real Napoleon III, lol. My female partner's always been a stunner. Wink

princealbertofb, i agree with you on the spelling. when typing on a computer i don't capitalize anything other than actual names, for my own reasons.

however, 'favorite' is an accurate way to spell it in American English. 'favourite' is the Brits' version. they're both the standard.

You are right. "Favourite" is the way I spell the word when I'm not showing how it's written in American English standard use.

The Glenwood Springs pool.

What is the most expensive thing you own?

My condo, I guess, although I'm still paying it off. The one expensive thing I own that's at least somewhat interesting is a 45rpm record worth about $750. I got it for free.

Which position do you typically sleep in?

I'm a very active sleeper, but usually on my side. I seem to favor my right side.

What did you learn today?

Miguel is available to perform, and Mark is available for sex.

What is something interesting about your family history?

Boy, not much. How about this: my father's last name, my mother's maiden name, my maternal grandmother's name, HER mother's maiden name, and HER mother's maiden name all started with the same letter. This finally ended in this generation - neither I nor my siblings settled down with somebody whose name started with that letter.

4. Anything a bit off-kilter that you hold on to just for sentimental reasons?

5. What's the strangest thing in your refrigerator right now?

1. Price is no object, but you have to stay put where you live now. How would you remodel/decorate?

I’d completely tear down my house and start from scratch. I’ve dreamt about how I’d design my dream home for a long time. I’d want something that I can entertain a large amount of people in comfortably. I like a strong dose of practicality built into everything- custom storage areas for everything, ergonomic kitchen. I like sunken living areas and built in bookcases. Lighting is super important to me- I hate fluorescent light with a passion. I like recessed, can lighting and warm lamps. I like warm decoration for the kitchen and main living areas and cool colors for sleeping/relaxing. Some modern art pieces that really challenge my perspective and spark deep thought would be great. I’d like my own private area for all of my hobbies (music, writing, meditation, aromatherapy, etc.). A must would be a huge Kohler whirlpool bath. The most important thing of all would be a fucking kick ass sound system throughout the entire house with plenty of base, a suspended wood dance floor and a separate listening/creating room. I’d like to have a spa wing (I am a licensed esthetician, used to do that on the side and I’d love to get back into it someday) with a separate entrance too.

2. What was the worst vacation you ever took?

The summer after I graduated college, I went backpacking in the U.K. with one of my six college roommates. For some reason, the minute we go there we started fighting and it lasted the entire trip. I still had a good experience, because I’m not one to let someone else dictate my mood, and hell, it was Europe and I was young.

For example, one of the things we fought about was that she wanted to totally “rough it”. In my mind, we already were. We only traveled with backpacks and stayed in hostels throughout England, Scotland and Ireland, we walked everywhere. One hostel in England was particularly awful – the bathroom was absolutely disgustingly dirty, was shared with a house full of about 20 other people, the beds smelled. But hey, we were college students and it was still fun. When we got to Ireland, we were happy we booked a hostel which was dirt cheap. When we arrived, I was happy to find out it was the best accommodation we had so far, with our own private bathroom, super clean room, and a free Irish breakfast. She was actually pissed about it, because she felt it was “too nice”. We just fought about every little thing and it sucked.

I never talked to her again after we got home, and still haven’t- which is weird because it was such a defining experience of my early adulthood in many ways.

3. What is one skill you tried your hand at, but weren't any good at?

In grade school I took violin lessons. I was always last chair in orchestra. I truly sucked at it, but in all fairness I never practiced either.

4. Anything a bit off-kilter that you hold on to just for sentimental reasons?

In my mid twenties I had my gall bladder removed. I asked the surgeon to save my gall stones, and I still have them. Yeah, I know that’s gross but I think they’re cool. My parents are both doctors so medical things don’t bother me.

5. What's the strangest thing in your refrigerator right now?

I guess a small container of sprouting Chia seeds.

1. Have you ever been ‘caught’ masturbating? Elaborate.

Yeah...sorta. The masturbation thing...well...I have mostly had sex my whole life so my masturbation sessions are fewer than most people I think..but the sorta part....

One day..this classic tall, dark and killer handsome man who was silent and intense came into the bar when I was bartending one afternoon....and in the space where you take the bar down to get in and out at the far end where I usually stood when I wasn't busy...he came behind me and started whispering in my ear...and licking it...and telling me to stay still and he proceeded to put him hands down my shorts and pretend he was hugging me which the customers were used to...I wasn't exactly shy....but what they weren't used to...he slipped his very long and thick (and very warm) cock in me slowly and I remember looking in one of my customers eyes while it was happening..and he was looking at me like...I KNOW what you are doing..but no way are you doing it...and he fucked me real slow...and I masturbated and came hard with an audience who were all looking at him with his tongue in my ear. They knew SOMETHING happened...and I told them later what it was...

What turned me on the most..he knew I would do it. I would have thought that I wouldn't do it...I liked his arrogance and confidence...

2. What’s something you’ve done in your life that required an amazing amount of bravery?

Letting someone else love me unonditionally...letting myself be vulnerable enough to allow it...VERY DIFFICULT...an 11 on a scale of 1 to 10

3. What is something that you’d like to accomplish in your life that you haven’t yet? Do you have plans in place to do so?

I want my soul to evolve so I don't have to come back again.

4. Are you afraid to die?

Yes...and No. I am afraid of not accomplishing my goals...but I look forward to joining the rest of my soul group.

5. Have you ever had a spiritual experience that changed your life forever? Describe.

Yeah...like over 1,000 of them.....seriously....

The best one...I met my lover on a psychic plane two years before I met him in person and his soul came to visit me all the time...and I described it in detail to all of my customers and friends. Everyone had a good laugh....even me..I thought I might be crazy...but I knew his name and birthday and what he drove...and the night he told me it was time to meet...I called a few of my friends to let them know...and then...I met him in person...and he was everything I said he was...and everyone who I told...over 100 people ...maybe more...were witnesses....

...and yeah...changed my life. Having your soul mate in front of you will bring you to your knees...
