How much do you throw away?

I could eat what I hate the most just to not throw it away. I don't put my health into risk though, as I always throw expired products. I can't stand throwing any healthy food, and if I'm completely forced to I let someone else do the job.
Anyway, throwing food while millions are starving is against conscience.

The worst thing is that something like 2/3 (or a big part like this, I don't remember) of the wasted food is the one that does not even reach the distribution and the houses of the people because of the overproduction and creates a lot of pollution.
It's like a chain, a vicious circle.

Be careful with the expiration dates and be sure to distinguish from the "best by" date. A can of sliced pineapple that expired a month or two ago is not going to kill you. Milk that expired yesterday or maybe even a couple days ago is probably not a problem. I've eaten yogurt that had expired a couple weeks before.
