While being an atheist isn't a requirement to be in GS,I do think it is hard to talk and share about religion here judging from how such posts always attract strong opinions and bigotry,which is why I refrain myself from doing so,plus I know no other active member of the same religion as me.

I am a proud Catholic and I was never ridiculed by anyone on GS because of my beliefs.

In fact, it's quite the opposite: GS is one of the few places where you can have a decent discussion on religion.
