Iceblink Wrote:This show from the late 70's bombed. It only lasted a couple months, but the theme song became a big hit.
Reading this reminded me of another show from the 70s that didn't do so well (I think it was around 2 seasons) but the title song was a hit. "Different Worlds" was a Top 20 hit for Maureen McGovern.
Oh my god, any opening or theme song from a historical drama. Yes, because I wish I lived in the Joseon dynasty. And I am totally in love with traditional Korean instruments.
Two of my favourite themes ever (from the same show):
Since there are many cartoon intros I thought I'd share one I liked as a kid (I think around age 10), mostly because it made me laugh:
That show cracked me up and I didn't even get many of the jokes (like how sexy, curvacious women used to be called tomatoes) though when I was that young I never got tired of seeing her turn into a tomato every time salt touched her. I wonder if all the time I spent on a farm (that also raised tomatoes) made me laugh at the idea of tomatoes going berserk like that?
That aside, I guess the intro to Firefly would be my favorite. I can't find it though (the song for it, yes, but not the actual intro).

Phew.. that's a stone off my chest. That was much harder than coming out as gay :S
XD
I loved it...as a kid I was also into Buffy and Angel, and this one:
