I guess it just depends on the definition of 'entirely straight.' I do generally believe any guy who wants/enjoys, particularly if he seeks out, same-sex sexual encounters, to not be entirely straight. So all of this "I sleep with tons of straight guys, I meet and sleep with like 2 a week" kind of stories, I believe that's sorta a bit of fantasy on both ends of the equation, one guy pretending he's straight and the other guy pretending the guy he's doing is straight. Win win for a guy not comfortable being gay and a guy who fettishizes "doing straight guys."

I think, though, that if we're talking about if the stars, the mood, the personality and body type, all aligned perfectly and this straight guy would be willing to fool around, that doesn't mean he's got repressed confusion about his sexuality. I think there are plenty of straight women, gay women, gay men, who would all step outside of their ordinary, dominant sexual norm in exactly the same kind of "exceptional circumstance."

^making a far reaching biased assumption from left field that's not even remotely what I'm referring to, but oh well.

In simpler terms...
Situational homosexuality is the fantasy, imo.

I think the gay community in general spends a very great deal of effort saying that our straight male friends, relatives, acquaintances, coworkers etc. would not be uncomfortable around us and we would not feel any need to censor ourselves, our sexuality or mentions of such, nor would they act any differently around us, if they were just comfortable enough with their own sexuality to not feel threatened or uncomfortable around gay guys.

And then when a straight guy is exactly that comfortable with his own sexuality, we begin assigning to him suspicions of secret non-straightness. It seems a bit unfair, to me.

In any event we can both sit here all day speculating about the secret sexuality of someone neither of us has ever met and likely never will, but I will stand by my statement that if this guy really wanted to do guys, he's had 8 years of opportunity to try something or anything and the simple fact that he hasn't, while not definitive proof of anything, is more proof than we'd require to "believe" that a guy who says he's gay is gay, or a guy who says he's bi is bi.

I have a hard time believing a guy with some closeted male-male urges would live for 8 years with a guy that he knows would be willing, and never take the opportunity.

That's what I'm saying... trust me he's had hundreds of real easy chances to let it happen and he is just as nice as he can be about it and doesn't let it happen. See the words I underlined above? They are the problem with this but I won't go over the problems label cause because half of GS has threatened to poop in my email if I rant about it again LOL.......and he's only lived with me for less than 4, Friends for 8.

Everyone does stupid shit from time to time Jimmy.... I'm not going to criticize anyone for being stupid from time to time because I know when I do fanged Kharma will sneak around and bite me in the butt --- making me look stupider than I try to act on a daily basis.

^we are talking about two completely different things. Beyond not being on the same page, but two completely different books. Apparently not comprehended. Oh well, whatever.
