31 Days of Halloween Challenge
#11
Anytime this subject comes up I remember spending the night with my grandfather when I was ten and him putting a scarey movie in the VCR and turning the lights off.... He turned the lights off so I wouldn't see him laughing at me curled up in a ball on the couch ready to climb the walls.

This movie screwed me up so bad back then that I developed a list of phobias... That was 16 years ago and I've never had a desire to see that movie again... If you haven't seen it you need to.

Don't read about it and spoil it!!!

I went to another thread and watched a vid about something else and this popped up when it was done. 10 of the scariest movies and the only one I've heard of is "the Exorcist." From the trailers they all look scarey.

OMG! Roflmao Roflmao Roflmao Roflmao Roflmao Roflmao

I don't mean to laugh, and I'm not laughing at you. It's just that my mom saw this during a stormy night when dad was working late, before any of her kids were born. She said it freaked her out so bad, she slept all night with a knife in the bed to feel safe.

When she felt we could 'handle it', she showed it to my brothers and I, we laughed through the whole thing.

how about Halloween 6 the producers cut, it has a more flushed out script that is way better than the standard version if u can get a hold of it - not giving you an easy one to start with but its worth it

My choices would be zombie flicks though I do like House of 1000 Corpses and 13 Ghosts

The Night of the Living Dead
Dawn of the Dead (remake)
Resident Evil (first two)
Aliens
Land of the Dead

...and the scariest movie of them all...

I understand what they did with that movie now. It's a trilogy and the first two parts were nothing but setting you up for the third one. I remember it VERY WELL, 16 years later!!!! It was about 4 years before I'd sleep with lights off and ... well ... I can't tell you the other things I became phobic about or I'll ruin it for you if your haven't seen it.

Horror movies scare me. I avoid them.

When I was a kid, I saw Pinocchio at the movie and got so scared I ran all the way home. I still haven't seen the whole movie.

My favorite part of Halloween is the orange jelly beans.

Dawn of the Dead 1978 version deserves a review as it one of those horror movies everyone should see, and a write up could get people to watch this classic who may never had bothered before

Ah so you missed the bloody aspects where Pinocchio goes on a killing bender and wipes out half the village before they stake him and lay his body to rest in a coffin made of lead....

You missed out on a lot in this morality tale.
