Hello all. I am very new to this forum/any LGBT forum. I am trying to reach our community on other platforms than FB, Twitter, Instagram, etc. For the past 15 months I've been in litigations & making steady progress in a big civil rights/discrimination case. Long story short: I was told to "fem up" (hair/makeup/wardrobe/everything ). Surprise: I was a head college softball coach for 3 years w/ this univ. I'm 31, and since I was 5 my life was softball. 3 college degrees & immense blood/sweat/tears later, my career/life is a heart-breaking wash.
Depositions are just around the corner (Oct.) I am here 1st looking for support. 2nd looking for donations to my cause. There you can get the whole story with news articles & a public copy of the demand for jury trial & more. You can also donate money. $5 is the minimum you can donate. Any support & suggestions on other outlets to try would mean more to me than you will ever know. Please be sure to read my bio, as that will really paint the picture for you. Softball was my heart. I sacrificed everything & every1 under the moon to chase my dream. And to have that drastically taken away from you for something as my appearance… Utterly heart-breaking.
I refused to sacrifice my dignity & immediately began the pursuit of 'suit. I was never open about my sexuality while I played/coached softball, but take a look at my pic. Pretty obvious. I was a stellar coach and it’ll take a miracle for me to coach again.
Truly, thank you for taking the time to read this. I'm not trying to beg or come off overly in-your-face with a boo-hoo story; I just have a very weak LGBT support group of friends.
Sincerely,
Jaclyn
