Yes, it's possible. Here's a story from 2011 about a 737-700 flying upside down because the co-pilot mistook the plane's rudder control as the lock switch for the cockpit door! Whoops! I am so glad I was not on that flight.

I've done it in small planes, but even the big planes can do it. Here's a famous vid of a pilot rolling a 707 back in the '60's. On purpose. If I ever get to fly something that big, I'd be tempted.
