Just looked outside and it's snowing, that was unexpected!

Nothing more than a few flakes though, which is all we seem to be able to manage here this year!

I long to see some lying snow

We last had some in March 2018

Beast From The East they called it, as very cold air came in from continental Europe and clashed with a storm moving in off the Atlantic

The result? Hours and hours of heavy snow, about 8 inches fell that day and night, which is rare in these parts!

Big fat flakes here now!
