Anyone know why certain sites heat up my computer?

Bowyn is right, giving your computer the occasional "suck" with the vacuum cleaner will boost the performance quite significantly.
I think it's all a ploy to make your computer become obsolescent more quickly, then you get a new one....

CCleaner is also a good product. I've just recently downloaded the version that will detect twin files so that you can delete the twin which takes up unnecessary space... Yay!!
