Today I stayed silent during a conversation...did the same thing yesterday and the day before.....

I know a shitload of people and have almost no boundaries because I love to talk to people and I constantly engage and ignore my own plans...I have a pied piper thing going on......my comfort zone is talking to people and being social and I am waaaaaayyyyyyy too friendly .....

I have always wanted to be quiet and reserved.....I tried it this week and it felt really weird and awkward and I even had to leave the room so I didn't blow it...but I am hoping the outcome will be at least to tone it down a bit.... maybe with a little (or a lot) more practice......

I don't gamble much at all but have been stopping at the local "mini-casino" to waste a couple of bucks nearly afternoon to give me an excuse to chat with the people who seem to live there. I was surprised to find out most of them don't waste a lot of money but go there to socialize. There are two middle age lesbians I've never gotten a chance to get to know and they are there everyday. Now I sit and jack jaw with them and the old farts, have myself two beers and come home. I've made about a dozen new friends so far.

I recently started a new job. I have taken up push bike riding. I plan to be more sociable and work on getting to know new people.

A. Doctor sent me for a scan to investigate a mass in my chest. Definitely not in comfort zone. Had the scan this morning and slept all day in denial.

B. Put on pants --dammit--to walk out of the house and into damp and chilly air. Dark. Walked back into the house to leave my comfort zone.
