How to turn off Congratulations?

So, our resident elf-lander / middle earther recently hit 15,000 posts and GS of course sent out the auto thread of congratulations that everyone likes and comments on.

I'll never get there, but supposedly 500 could be in the not so distant future for me. How do I turn off or opt out of the 'auto congratulations thread'. I don't understand it and altho 100 was fun, I am now over it. Its embarassing for me.
